Tiny Saints

I’ve been trying to think of something fun to do as a welcome back to CCD for next school year’s class.  While perusing through Pinterest for ideas one day I came across Tiny Saints which really are tiny, rubber-like charms of various saints.  In the words of my 10-year-old daughter, Tiny Saints are “totes” adorable.

I was very excited to find a St. Elizabeth Ann Seton charm, the saint for whom my church is named.  Although she was the first native-born American citizen to be canonized, we don’t really hear too much about her, so you can imagine my surprise!

When I contacted the company regarding bulk sales, I explained that I am from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and was interested in purchasing a number of Tiny Saint charms for my class.  I quickly received a response from Joe who answered my question with some very good news and stated that he was on the MS Gulf Coast not too long ago helping with the BP oil spill clean up.  It IS a small world after all!

Upon further research, I discovered Tiny Saints was founded in 2012 by the Klinker family who live just outside of Boston, Massachusetts.  How could I not support another Catholic family who is evangelizing the world one Tiny Saint at a time AND takes the time to help those in need!?

Thank you, Klinker Family, for the personal service received throughout my experience.  I am very excited to give these charms as welcome back gifts for my 2nd graders and will purchase more charms in the future.

May God bless you today and always,

Did you know that if you order Resurrection Eggs from an online store, you do not get the eggs that come with the readings?

I discovered this on a hectic Sunday morning when I was trying to find something fun for my CCD class.  So I frantically searched the world-wide web for the Biblical readings for the Resurrection Eggs.  I was fortunate enough to find Family Your Way {intentional and creative living}.

Family Your Way has provided wonderful story card printables as well as do-it-yourself Resurrection Eggs instructions.

Thank you, Mandi Ehman and Family Your Way for making my life a little easier when time was not on my side!
