You have blessed me. We have two daughters in their 20’s away from the faith and our family. Yet, we have 3 sons with religious vocations. Such a contrast. We have 12 children in all. Right now we are turning to St. Jude, after many novenas to other saints, to pray for the urgent sale of our home due to serious asthma issues from the climate in which we live which has caused even hospitalizations to a few of our younger children.

    St. Jude, pray for us!
God bless you for a wonderful, encouraging website!

Wow, twelve children! God has blessed you. I can’t imagine having more than my one.

If you haven’t buried your St. Joseph statue upside down and facing your house yet, give it a try. All you need is a little faith in God, yourself and St. Joseph and your home will sell. It couldn’t hurt, right?

It’s funny (not funny ha ha) that you tell me about your girls who have turned away from the faith. Just yesterday I found the Novena Prayer for the Return of Lapsed Catholics on one of those social media sites that drive me nuts.

O Good Shepherd, you never cease to seek out the lost, to call home the stray, to comfort the frightened, and to bind up the wounded. I ask you to bring Sandy’s daughters back to the practice of the Faith, and to remove all obstacles that prevent them from receiving your abundant mercy, which flows sacramentally through the heart of your holy Church. Through the intercession of Mary, Mother of God, their Guardian Angels, their Patron Saints and the ever-prayerful St. Monica, may you pardon their sins and unshackle them from whatever hinders their freedom to come Home. For you, O Good Shepherd, loved us to the end and offered yourself to the Father for the salvation of all. Amen

Please pray for my baby granddaughter. She was born almost a month ago and is still in the hospital. She is a very sick little girl. She has a cleft palate, holes in her heart, lungs that won’t open up so she can breathe on her own, kidneys that aren’t not fully functional and now the Dr tell us she has CHARGE syndrome and will require help the rest of her life. She can not cry because of the ventilator down her throat but I know she is crying because she has tears in her eyes. She is not gaining weight in spite of constant feedings. We ask that everyone please pray that she gets a miracle and be healed of all or even some of her afflictions. Her parents have lost everyone one of prior pregnancies before we were blessed with Emma. The sadness and fear in their eyes for their little baby in unbearable. Please pray for all of them. Thanks you.
